This Privacy Policy explains how NumberScout ("NumberScout", "we", "us") processes personal data when you visit our website or use our reverse phone lookup service, and it applies to visitors located in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom. For the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR") and the UK GDPR, NumberScout is the controller of the personal data described in this policy. We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described above. Account and subscription records are kept while your subscription is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to handle billing questions and meet legal obligations. Search queries and technical logs are retained for shorter periods and then deleted or anonymised. When data is no longer needed, we delete it or irreversibly anonymise it.

We share personal data with service providers who help us operate the service, including hosting providers, our database provider and Stripe for payment processing. These providers act on our instructions under data processing agreements. Some providers are located outside the EEA and the UK, including in the United States. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, or an adequacy decision covering the recipient country.
